All basses in the Banshee series have a short scale of 30" (762 mm). The rosewood fingerboard has 20 Narrow X-Jumbo frets. A Schecter Diamond QPA neck pickup provides the sound. The alder body delivers a warm and resonant sound.

Schecter produces both time-honored replicas and contemporary single-coil and humbucker pickups for both guitars and basses. All pickups from A for “Apocalypse” to Z for “Z Plus” are produced in the USA. From vintage to ultra-hot sounds, from four to eight strings, Schecter has something for everyone.

A rosewood fretboard is characterized by a warm, resonant tone quality. The density and structure of rosewood help the string vibrations to be transmitted efficiently, resulting in a balanced sound spectrum with emphasized lows, clear mids and silky highs.
